Water Resources Engineer

NMB provides professional services to both public and private sector clients including land surveying, land development, site planning and design, municipal engineering and construction management.

Due to our strong relationships with our current client base, Nielsen Madsen + Barber is growing and looking to fill several new positions in all departments including an experienced Stormwater – Water Resources Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in water resources or environmental engineering; a minimum of 3 years’ experience in stormwater modeling and design; a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Wisconsin and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Proficiency with PondPack Urban Hydrology & Detention Pond Modeling Software; HydroCAD, Source Loading and Management Modeling (WinSLAMM), ACOE HEC-2 and HEC-RAS Software and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Project types that the successful candidate will be assigned to consists of a mix of public and private developments; new industrial facility designs and expansions; single-family subdivisions; multi-family apartments and condominium developments.
